IBM, Canonical, and Simmtronics announced Simmbook, netbooks are designed specifically for emerging markets and are available at affordable prices, which is 190 U.S. dollars.
Simmbook equipped with IBM Client for Smart Work, which includes IBM Lotus Symphony, access to IBM's LotusLive cloud collaboration services, as well as the option to add IBM's Lotus collaboration software such as Lotus Notes and Lotus Sametime.
Although the three companies keep Simmbook specifications, they claim that it provides performance pro
ducts such as full-sized laptop, but in a compact size.
The computer running the Ubuntu operating system and comes with IBM Client for Smart Work, employment application package from IBM and Canonical are open, easy to use, and offers good security as expensive PC software such as Microsoft Windows.
