According to data from StatCounter, the users of Windows XP until December 2011 are dropped dramatically. Lots of computer users now have started to move to Windows 7. In fact, according to research static, users of Windows 7 is almost past the XP users.
During the year 2011, XP users decreased to 48.8%. While Windows 7 is increased to 44.5% from 27.7% from a year ago.
Microsoft is going to eliminate the XP in the near future. Currently the distance between the users of Windows XP with Windows, are very close. This is because the global decline of 3.5% from December 2011.
Decrease in the number of users also occurs in Windows Vista that decreased 4.5%, from the previous 15.1% to 11.4% in the desktop OS market globally.
