G-SHOCK GB-6900 will connect to the smartphone via a Bluetooth connection LE (LE-Low Energy) and is compatible with LTE Medias N-04d Android NEC and NEC Medias N PP-01D.
Casio says the new watches not only synchronize time with the smartphone. The watch can display incoming calls, emails or SMS.
G-SHOCK GB-6900 is not the first watches that can be connected to the phone. But Bluetooth LE features as Bluetooth 4.0 technology has the power-saving technology. Casio say the watch is able to work for 2 years with CR2032 battery.
