Intel 22nm Ivy Bridge ready to entering market


Add again the Z77 chipset with lower ability

Intel set up five new Ivy Bridge processors for desktop. 3 processors with 55W TDP and 2 again with 35W TDP.

Beside the processor, a chipset Z77 released.

I3 3240 at 3.4GHz, VGA 650/1020Mhz integration. Core i3 3225, 3.3GHz, has an internal VGA HD4000. Core i3 3220, but more internal VGA 3.3GHz slower than the HD 3225 I3 2500. The all requires 55W power only.

35W power-efficient models, i3 3240T core, 3GHz clock and Core i3 3220T, 2.8GHz with internal VGA HD 2500. Like the previous model I3, Ivy Bridg series have HyperThreading feature, but without the Turbo Boost.

Latest info for notebooks, Intel has issued a series of Ivy Bridge in early April. But the processor will be shipping in June. Current notebook manufacturers still have a stock with Sandy Bridge.
