4 inch screen, Claimed better than Nokia Lumia specification
Samsung on Friday said it will release Omnia M. A smartphone with Windows Phone OS, 4 inch Super AMOLED screen. OmniaM is the first market for Europe. Samsung Omnia does not say how much the M, but specifications appear to compete with Nokia Lumia 610.
Omnia M has 385MB RAM (512MB on top models), while Nokia Lumia 610 has 256MB of memory. Windows Phone OS 7.5 only requires less memory than previous versions of OS. So that applications can run well even though the smartphone has 256MB of memory.
Omnia M specifications is 1GHz, 5Mpix, 4GB of storage memory. Lumia Nokia 610 has a 3.7 inch dispay, 800Mhz CPU, 5Mpix camera and 8GB of storage memory.
Weight ratio between OmniaM and LumiaM is not much. Samsung Omnia has a 10.5mm thick and weighs 119g. Nokia Lumia M has the 12mm thick and weighs 131.5g. See the specification is almost identical, both are expected to be sold for only $ 189.
